Feel Satisfied

A calmer relationship with food — without another set of rules

You know how you would like to eat. Yet after a demanding day, or when you finally get a moment to yourself, you may find yourself eating more than you intended — carrying on after you feel satisfied or reaching for something almost without thinking.

Perhaps you want comfort, a reward, something to look forward to or simply a break. Sometimes you enjoy the food. Sometimes you barely notice eating it. Afterwards, you wonder why you still feel as though something is missing.

What were you hoping the food would give you?

Feel Satisfied is a self-guided Hypnos Solutions programme designed to help you understand and change patterns of overeating.

You’ll explore what is driving those familiar choices, what might meet your needs in other ways, and how to become more aware of when you feel satisfied.

The Companion Guide, hypnosis recordings and your own Action Plan work together to help you understand your patterns, rehearse different responses and practise small changes in everyday life.

The aim is to make calmer, more deliberate choices around food, with more attention available for the things you want to enjoy in your life.

Your Feel Satisfied programme includes

  • The Feel Satisfied Companion Guide in e-book and audio book formats
  • Four hypnotic recording settings: Woodland, Seashore, Garden and Fireside
  • Day and night versions of each recording
  • A separate downloadable Feel Satisfied Action Plan

30-day Satisfaction Promise — see details below.

Why eating is not always about hunger

Food can give us pleasure, comfort and a welcome break. It can become part of how we reward ourselves, mark the end of work or cope with a difficult feeling.

Over time, a particular situation or mood can begin to prompt the same response. You sit down with a cup of tea and reach for the biscuits. You finish a stressful day and open the cupboard. You eat something while doing another task and realise later that you hardly tasted it.

Feel Satisfied helps you pause and ask:

“What do I need right now?”

Sometimes the answer is food. If you are hungry, you can eat and enjoy it.

At other times, you may be looking for rest, comfort, connection, enjoyment or a change of pace. Recognising that gives you more than one way to respond.

You do not need a battle with yourself

You may feel as though one part of you wants to make healthier choices while another wants cake, chocolate or something comforting right now.

The Companion Guide invites you to understand both sides. The part seeking food may be trying to give you a moment of relief or pleasure. The part thinking about your longer-term goals also wants something good for you.

Instead of treating either part as the enemy, you can look for a response that takes both needs seriously. That might mean enjoying food when you genuinely want it. It might mean finding another way to pause, feel rewarded or make a difficult day easier.

The aim is to have more choice around food, with less criticism of yourself.

How the Feel Satisfied programme works

1. Understand your patterns

The Companion Guide explores why food can become more than fuel, how repeated responses turn into habits and why choices can feel harder when you are stressed or exhausted.

It helps you consider:

  • when you eat without physical hunger
  • what food may be giving you in that moment
  • which situations have become cues for eating
  • why an urge can feel compelling without requiring you to act on it
  • how to notice enjoyment and satisfaction while you eat
  • how to make a response you want easier to follow

You will choose a specific behaviour to practise, rather than relying on a vague promise to “be good” from now on.

2. Rehearse a different response

The hypnotic recordings reinforce the ideas in the guide. While you listen, you can imagine pausing before an automatic choice, noticing what you need and recognising when you feel satisfied.

You remain in control of your listening experience. You do not need to empty your mind, concentrate on every word or feel that something dramatic has happened.

The value is in returning to the response you want to practise, so it has opportunities to become more familiar.

3. Make it practical

Your downloadable Feel Satisfied Action Plan brings your useful discoveries together. You can use it to record other ways to meet a need, a personal reset for difficult moments, the behaviour you are practising and a small change that will make that behaviour easier.

It gives you something personal to return to when an old pattern appears.

Make the choice you want easier

You do not make food choices in a vacuum. What is nearby, what you have prepared, how your day has gone and how you are feeling can all influence what seems appealing.

The guide helps you find your Critical Move: a small, practical change that makes your chosen response easier.

For you, that might involve planning a satisfying break before you reach for food out of tiredness, keeping an option you enjoy readily available, or changing the routine that usually leads you to eat without noticing.

You can also build a personal reset: two or three simple things that help you feel differently when food is not what you really need.

No single choice has to be perfect. You are learning which changes help in your own life.

Notice what satisfaction feels like

Feel Satisfied is about more than deciding whether to eat.

When you are hungry, you can give yourself permission to enjoy your food. You can pay attention to flavour and texture and begin noticing the point at which you have had enough.

And when you are looking for something other than food, you can explore what else might leave you feeling genuinely satisfied: a little rest, a conversation, time outdoors, an absorbing activity or simply a pause in a crowded day.

The programme encourages you to become curious about these moments, rather than judging every meal or craving.

Four settings to choose from

The therapeutic approach is consistent across the recordings; the setting changes so you can choose the one you naturally find most appealing.

Fresh green woodland, softly filtered light and the steady feeling of nature around you. A grounding, restorative setting.

Warm sand, open water and the rhythm of the waves. A spacious, soothing and freeing setting.

A peaceful spring garden filled with flowers, sunlight and open views. A gentle, uplifting and refreshing setting.

A warm fire, soft light and a peaceful winter scene outside. A cosy, comforting and deeply settling setting.

You do not need to use all four. Choose whichever setting feels most inviting and stay with that recording for a while. Familiarity is useful — which is why the programme encourages you to use the same version regularly before exploring the others.

Day and night versions

Choose the day version when you want to return to your day feeling ready to continue. Choose the night version when you are listening in bed and would like to settle towards sleep.

With both versions of all four settings, the programme includes eight hypnotic audio tracks.

What goes into your Action Plan?

Your separate downloadable Feel Satisfied Action Plan helps you record what is most useful to you, including:

  • what you may really need when you want to eat without hunger
  • other ways to find comfort, pleasure or a break
  • your personal reset
  • the eating behaviour you want to practise
  • what different parts of you are trying to achieve
  • what helps you feel more able to choose
  • your Critical Move: the small change that makes your new response easier

The guide explains these ideas. The plan helps you make them your own.

Feel Satisfied may be right for you if…

  • you often eat when you are not physically hungry
  • you turn to food for comfort, reward or a way to switch off
  • eating sometimes happens so automatically that you barely notice it
  • you are tired of repeatedly starting over with food rules
  • you want to recognise when you feel satisfied
  • you would like healthier choices to feel less like a constant fight

Feel Satisfied is intended to support a calmer relationship with food and help you change patterns of overeating. It does not promise a particular amount of weight loss or a particular result.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a diet?

No. Feel Satisfied helps you understand what drives your eating and practise different responses. It does not give you a restrictive meal plan or ask you to treat foods as moral successes or failures.

Will I be told not to eat when I want food?

No. If you are hungry, the programme encourages you to eat and enjoy your food. The pause is there to help you recognise what you need, including the times when food is not the answer you are looking for.

What if I have a difficult day and return to an old habit?

One day does not erase what you have learnt. You can notice what happened, consider what you needed and return to the response you are practising.

Does Feel Satisfied work?

In my work with clients who have struggled with their weight for years, I have seen how much can change when food stops being the main focus. Instead of another cycle of rules and willpower, we look at what is driving the eating and what might help them feel more genuinely satisfied.

Clients have described that shift simply: “I feel I have found my ‘off-switch’” and “I just feel so much happier.”

Feel Satisfied brings this approach into a programme you can use at home. The Guide helps you understand your patterns, the Recordings help you rehearse different responses, and the Action Plan helps you put what you learn into practice.

Everyone’s experience is different, and individual results will vary.

What is the success rate?

I cannot give you a verified success-rate percentage for the online Feel Satisfied programme. My experience with individual clients has been encouraging, but it would be misleading to present their results as a measured outcome for everyone who buys the programme.

Instead, look for changes in everyday life: more space before an automatic choice, a clearer sense of what you need, greater awareness of when you are satisfied, and less time spent thinking about food.

Will I lose weight?

Feel Satisfied is designed to help you understand and change patterns that can contribute to overeating and weight difficulties.

Weight loss may follow for some people, but I cannot predict or promise how much weight any individual will lose. The focus of the programme is on helping you make calmer, more deliberate choices around food rather than relying on rules, restriction or willpower.

What happens after I buy?

Your confirmation email will take you to the Feel Satisfied programme page, where you can access the Companion Guide in e-book and audiobook formats, the four recordings in day and night versions, and your separate downloadable Action Plan.

Important information

Feel Satisfied offers education, self-help and complementary therapeutic support. It does not replace individual healthcare advice, assessment or treatment.

If you have a diagnosed or suspected eating disorder, recurrent binge eating or purging, severe restriction, significant or unexplained weight changes, or persistent distress about food or your body, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. That support is likely to be a better place to begin.

Listen to the recordings only when you can rest safely, never while driving, operating machinery or doing anything requiring your full attention.

Begin with a different question

Instead of asking yourself to follow more rules, you can begin by noticing what is happening:

Am I hungry? What do I need? What response would feel satisfying now and afterwards?

Feel Satisfied helps you explore those questions, practise your answers and make space for food to be enjoyable without asking it to meet every need.
