Has anxiety started making decisions for you?
A journey, a meal out, a meeting or an invitation — things you once did without much thought can become questions about whether you’ll cope.
You may find yourself avoiding situations, checking how you feel or wondering:
“What if I feel anxious?”
“What if I can’t cope?”
Over time, you can begin planning your life around those questions and lose sight of what you would actually like to do.
Calm Anxiety is a self-guided programme designed to help you understand that pattern, practise a different response and take manageable steps towards the things anxiety has been limiting.
The aim is to build experiences you can look back on and say: “I felt anxious — and I still coped.”

Your digital programme includes:
- Companion Guide in e-book and audiobook formats.
- Four hypnosis recordings, each with a day and night version — eight audio tracks in total.
- Printable Calm Anxiety Action Plan, linked to the questions and exercises in the Guide.
- Immediate online access after purchase, so you can begin at your own pace.
30-day Satisfaction Promise — see details below.
When anxiety starts narrowing your life
Anxiety can feel convincing. A racing heart, an unsettled feeling or a worrying thought can quickly become another question: “What if something is wrong?”
It is understandable to look for relief by leaving, avoiding, checking or asking for reassurance. But these responses can sometimes keep the pattern going, making it harder to discover what you can handle.
Calm Anxiety explores that pattern in straightforward language and introduces practical ways to respond.
You can begin with a situation that feels manageable, recognise what is happening and practise your next step.
The aim isn’t perfect calm
You may be waiting to feel confident before doing something anxiety has made difficult.
This programme takes a different starting point: choosing small, manageable experiences through which you can begin building that confidence.
The aim is to move towards experiences such as:
- Recognising an anxious moment without immediately assuming the worst.
- Returning your attention to what you are doing instead of following every worrying thought.
- Taking a manageable step in a situation you have been avoiding.
- Noticing what you handled, as well as what you felt.
“I felt anxious — and I still coped.”
That is the kind of experience the programme encourages you to notice and build on.
Three parts that work together
1. Understand — your Companion Guide
The Calm Anxiety Companion Guide explores the questions that often arise when anxiety begins affecting everyday life:
- What is happening to me?
- How do I stop these awful thoughts?
- How do I stop anxiety limiting my life?
- How do I start feeling like myself again?
It explains the anxiety alarm, worry loops, avoidance and safety behaviours, with practical exercises to help you apply the ideas to your own experience.
You will also be introduced to ABC — Accept, Breathe and Connect: a simple response to practise when anxiety rises.
The Guide is included as both an e-book and a Companion Audio Guide. Read, listen or move between the two — whichever suits you best.
2. Rehearse — your hypnosis recordings
You can understand something when you are feeling settled and still find it difficult to remember in an anxious moment.
The recordings offer a guided way to rehearse the responses introduced in the Guide while resting safely and comfortably.
These include recognising the alarm, allowing thoughts to pass, reconnecting with the present and imagining yourself taking your next manageable step.
Choose from four settings, each available in a day and night version.
3. Put it into practice — your Action Plan
Your printable, two-sided A4 Action Plan brings your own responses and next steps together in one place.
Its questions follow the Guide, helping you record:
- What you want to remember when your anxiety alarm fires.
- Your Calm Anchor and ABC response.
- What to do when your mind starts worrying.
- A safety behaviour you would like to rely on less.
- Something anxiety has been limiting and your next manageable step.
- Evidence of what you have handled.
Start with a few notes and return to it as you work through the programme. You do not need to complete everything at once.
Choose a setting that appeals to you
The approach is consistent across the recordings; the setting changes so you can choose the experience you find most inviting.
Fresh green woodland, softly filtered light – a natural, grounding and restorative setting.
Warm sand, open water and the rhythm of the waves. A spacious, soothing setting.
A peaceful spring garden filled with flowers, sunlight and open views. A gentle, uplifting and refreshing setting.
A warm fire, soft light and a peaceful winter scene outside. A cosy, comforting and deeply settling setting.
Day versions guide you back to wakefulness at the end.
Night versions finish without a wake-up section, for listening as you settle to sleep.
You do not need to work through all four settings. Choose one you like and use it regularly for a while before exploring the others.

Your questions answered
What happens after I buy?
Your confirmation email will direct you to the Calm Anxiety programme page, where you can access the Companion Guide in e-book and audiobook formats, all eight hypnosis tracks and your downloadable Action Plan.
The Guide is digital; a printed book is not included. You can print the Action Plan to write on.
Where should I begin?
Start by reading or listening to the Guide. Use the Action Plan alongside it to capture the ideas most relevant to you.
Then choose your preferred recording setting and its day or night version. Listen regularly when you can rest safely, rather than saving it only for difficult moments.
Do I have to be good at hypnosis?
You do not need to empty your mind, picture everything vividly or achieve a particular depth of relaxation.
You may imagine the setting, sense it or simply listen. There is no requirement to perform the experience perfectly.
How long does the programme take?
You can work through the materials at your own pace and return to them as you practise.
The emphasis is on manageable steps and regular practice. There is no promised timetable for results, and everyone’s experience will be different.
What changes should I look for?
Look at how you respond in everyday life, rather than judging every listening session.
You might notice that you recognised the alarm, spent less time following a worry, took a small step you had been avoiding or handled a situation differently.
Your Action Plan gives you somewhere to record those experiences.
Start learning to trust yourself again
You do not need to trust that anxiety will never appear. You can begin learning to trust yourself when it does.
Your Calm Anxiety programme includes the Companion Guide e-book and audiobook, four hypnosis recordings in day and night versions, and your printable Action Plan.
Immediate digital access after purchase. Work through the programme at your own pace.
Our 30-day Satisfaction Promise
